英国埃克塞特大学计算机学科教授,高性能计算与网络实验室主任。一直致力于计算机网络和分布式系统的研究,在移动互联网、云计算
与边缘计算、大数据、人工智能等领域取得了一系列创新性研究成果,在国际重要学术期刊/会议发表论文共计380多篇。作为项目的总负
责人或首席科学家主持过20多项重要科研和产业化项目。
报告摘要:
The synergy between digital twin and big data analytics has emerged as a pivotal driving force for intelligent transportation
and smart cities. Digital twin provides a dynamic, high-fidelity virtual model of physical networks. This talk will delve into the
transformative potential of this synergy in the design, operation, and optimization of future networking systems forsmart
Internet-of-Things. Our vision focuses on harnessing the collective power of digital twin and network big data, aiming to
facilitate real-time system monitoring, proactive troubleshooting, automated optimization, and intelligent decision-making.
This talk will further present cutting-edge methodologies in big data modelling, real-time incremental data analytics, and
cost-effective distributed computing platforms, to achieve accurate anomaly prediction and timely fault detection, towards
smart and reliable future networks for supporting intelligent transportation and smart cities.
